Reduced train service
Monday 6 – Saturday 11 May
Greater Anglia and c2c will be running a reduced train service between Monday 6 – Saturday 11 May. Additionally, most routes will have no services at all on Tuesday, 7 May.

Alternative transport options
- X30 bus service. The X30 bus runs twice hourly from Southend to Stansted Airport via London Southend Airport and Chelmsford. This service is operated by First Group Buses. Find the X30 bus timetable here, or use the First Bus App.
- Arriva bus routes. Services 7 and 8 operate between Shoeburyness, Thorpe Bay, Southend Airport, Rochford, Ashingdon and Rayleigh. Service 9 operates between Thorpe Bay, Eastwood and Rayleigh.
- Taxi. Andrews Taxis provides the official taxi service at London Southend Airport. Contact them on +44 (0) 1702 200 200
- Bus service. Hourly connection to the c2c line via Basildon, for trains to London. Estimated journey time 11 minutes to Southend Central.
