easyJet launches new route from London Southend to Ibiza for summer 2026

easyJet, London Southend’s largest airline, has today announced the launch of a new route for summer 2026 to Ibiza, with seats and holiday packages now on sale.
The inaugural flight will take off for the first time on 29th April 2026, with twice-weekly departures on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The latest in a long line of recent new routes from the airport mean customers now have the opportunity to explore cultural sites such as historic Dalt Vila, relax along the island’s stunning coastline, or enjoy Ibiza’s renowned culinary scene and famous nightlife.
Whether exploring Ibiza’s lively Capital San Antonio or meandering along the pebbled streets of its old town or basking in Ibiza’s crystal-clear waters, this Spanish Island favourite has something for everyone.
easyJet holidays will also offer packages to the Spanish hot spots, with flights, hotel, transfers and 23kg luggage included. All holidays can be booked with a low deposit of £60 per person and come with Ultimate Flexibility guarantees, including the freedom to change the booking up to 28 days before departure.

In March easyJet opened its new three A320neo aircraft base at London Southend supporting around 1,200 jobs including 140 direct jobs for pilots and cabin crew and the network at its newest base in London Southend continues to grow from strength to strength.
The airline is now operating 24 routes from London Southend to leisure destinations across Europe and North Africa, reinforcing the airport’s position as a key gateway for Essex and London, driving growth and connectivity.
