Fearless Flyer Course

What the course includes

The Ground Course is presented virtually via a special online format and has the following benefits:

• Watch from the comfort of your own home, on any device that has access to the internet;
• 2 hour 30 minutes presentation (consisting of 16 easy-to-watch modules);
• You can rewatch it as many times as you wish up to the day of your experience flight;
• Lawrence Leyton, our course therapist and host, will teach you a series of coping techniques and strategies;
• A senior easyJet captain will take you through all the misconceptions you may have about flying;
• Extensive focus on turbulence, noises, sensations, take off, landings, cross winds, crew training, aircraft safety and much, much more;
• It covers both the technical and psychological aspects of the fear of flying;
• Extensive question and answer session with the pilot.

By the end of the Ground Course you will feel much more confident about taking the Experience Flight!

Meet The Team (1 hour Zoom Session)

In addition to the Ground Course, there is also a pre-flight one hour Meet The Team Online Zoom session which will include: 

• A review of the Ground Course
• The airport experience and what to expect
• A pre Experience Flight briefing 
• Q&A session with the Fearless Flyer Team

Experience Flight – Saturday, 31st January 2026

The dedicated Experience Flight* will take off from (and land back at) Southend Airport (Postcode – SS2 6YF) on Saturday, 31st January 2026 and will last a maximum of 1 hour. 

• Meet and greet with the Fearless Flyer Team
• Dedicated Check In process
• Exclusive flight for Course Participants (and their companions) only
• Dedicated crew for the Fearless Flyer flight
• Relaxation session when you first board the aircraft
• Live running commentary from an additional pilot who will be in the cabin with you
