London Southend Airport cleaning bring some sparkle to the residential facility run by South East Central Essex Mind

The cleaning team at London Southend expertly armed with rubber gloves and mops spring cleaned the communal residential areas at Nelson’s Gate in Southend.

South East Central Essex Mind provides supervised residential housing at Nelson’s Gate for adults with a mental health condition who are unable to cope with living independently. As part of an ongoing partnership, members of the airport cleaning team spent the day on site supporting the SECE Mind management team in improving the facilities.

Laura Lewsey, Senior Housing Support Worker, SECE Mind, “The team did a fantastic job and the residents have really noticed a difference. It’s amazing how much they achieved in a short space of time. Having a clean environment goes a long way to making people feel calm and more positive”.

Liam Quick, Cleaning Supervisor London Southend Airport, “We really enjoyed having the opportunity to help SECE Mind and the residents at Nelson’s Gate. It was a great experience and we all left with a great sense of wellbeing and achievement”.
