What to expect
When you choose one of our Lapland holiday packages, you’ll fly from London Southend to Saariselkä, a snow-covered village in Finnish Lapland, deep in the Arctic Circle. Over three days, you’ll take part in traditional Lapland experiences – sledging through the forest with huskies, gliding over the snow on a reindeer sleigh, and laughing along with Santa’s Elves at their festive shows.
Your accommodation is cosy, welcoming and well equipped for the winter weather. You’ll be supplied with thermal snowsuits and boots, and the trip includes breakfast and dinner each day.
At the heart of the experience is the magical moment when each family sets off through the woods to visit Santa in his hidden log cabin. With no queues or crowds, it’s a personal, heartwarming meeting that children and grown-ups alike will never forget.

Option 1: Santa’s Magic
Santa’s Magic is a classic Lapland experience, perfect for younger families. You’ll enjoy a full day of Arctic activities followed by a festive dinner and entertainment – plus that all-important private meeting with Santa.

Santa’s Aurora is a more premium Lapland adventure, offering a slightly slower pace and added extras to help you make the most of this magical setting. It’s an ideal choice for older children or families looking to enjoy Lapland’s natural beauty as well as the festive fun.
This trip includes everything in the Santa’s Magic package, plus:

Your itinerary
On Day One, you’ll travel from London Southend Airport to Saariselkä. After being fitted with your thermal kit, you’ll check in to your accommodation and enjoy your first dinner in the snow-dusted village.
Day Two is your big activity day. You’ll meet the huskies and reindeer, play in the snow, enjoy live performances, and then head deep into the forest to meet Santa himself.
On Day Three, there’s time for breakfast (and a final snowball fight) before you return home with stories, souvenirs and unforgettable memories.
